BlazeŽ to Offer "Voting" OCR Software through PrimeOCR

Technology, Inc. today announced that Version 5.0 of Summation BlazeŽ for Windows
integrated litigation support software will support high accuracy OCR through Prime
Recognition's PrimeOCR "Voting" OCR software. Version 5.0, due in
mid-1997, will give Summation Blaze customers access to production-oriented OCR software
that generates 65% to 80% fewer errors than conventional OCR.
Summation Blaze for Windows
Summation Blaze integrates a powerful full-text search & retrieval system with
convenient on-screen annotation and a customizable database for indexing documents. The
software incorporates Summation's proprietary Blaze indexing technology, designed
specifically for litigation support applications in a PC environment. Blaze allows you to
perform very fast searches through a virtually unlimited number of database records. In
addition, Blaze offers a complete vocabulary listing of words in your database, providing
an instant case overview based upon word frequency.
Summation Blaze with OCR
Version 5.0 of Summation Blaze will support OCR technology from Prime Recognition, which
will be available as an add-on utility. Prime Recognition's PrimeOCR "Voting"
OCR software provides highly accurate conversion of text within image documents into
machine readable characters.
